Iverson Bicycle Division of Stelber Industries

Stelber Cycle Corporation was a Manufacturer of bicycles located in Elmurst,
New York. Stelber Cycles offered cruiser bicycles in the 1950's and 1960's.
In the mid 1960's, they offered several models under a new
brand name called- Iverson Division of Stelber Industries.

During the 1960's, the Iverson Brand took flight with a fairly
inexpesive Bicycle targeted toward department stores.

They focused on mass producing inexpensive bikes for children.
In the late 60's and early 70's, Iverson embraced the
Banana Seat Craze and added more flare to their bicycles.

They commisioned the King of Customizers, and came up
with bikes like the Wheelie bike, Dragstripper, Charger,
Road Runner and many more Bicycles, styled and designed
by George Barris, under the Iverson brand name.

Today, Iverson Muscle Bikes are very popular, but
hard to come by. You see, back in the day, when you
were done with your department store bicycle
you simply threw it away and bought a new one.
