This project started in the winter of 2022 when a good friend of mine
had mentioned he bought a Cuda that came with a complete 1971 nose.
I made and offer and as they say the rest is history.

The next step of the build was
to find a 1970 or 1971 Barracuda to build into a 1971 Hemicuda to race in
the SuperCar ShootOut Stock Appearing Class. I bought the 1970 Barracuda
318 console Auto that you see here. I bought every single piece of sheet metal and
component I was missing. The next step was to start looking for a Body Man to put it all together
and paint it TX9.

Well that is when the whole project took a halt. With Covid
almost in the rear view mirror, I thought it would be easy to
find a hungry Body Man.

To my surprise, no one wanted to work! I kept getting "not interested, I'm only
doing insurance work". The project was at a stand still.

One winter day, I was looking at Marketplace and noticed and real nice 1970 Barracuda that needed no body
work or repairs, It was and is perfect. The Barracuda was complete with every single
part- either new or NOS, Shaker Base and Bubble NOS, New 1970 Legendary Interior,
Rallye Dash, Perfect 1970 Grill and components. I made the call, and off to Central PA I
went to bring it home.

The project was back on, the Ted Thompson Hemi was ready to go. I started
shopping painters and found many interested in painting the new mint Barracuda.

The plan for this Cuda was to put all the beautiful 1970 Parts together and sell this as a complete project.
As I was getting ready to move on selling this Cuda, a young man messaged me on FB
and asked if I still had the 1970 Cuda. The next question he asked floored me, he told
me he was starting his own shop and wanted to take on the project. I didn't hesitate,
the following day, Jared came by the shop and looked it over and said he was interested
in doing all the metal work, body and paint.

A deal was made and the Master Blaster Joe
was called to clean up what was left for Jared to
start bringing the Cuda back from the grave.

Follow this page for updates. As of today December 22, 2024 Jared is
completing the Metal Work and will be starting on the bodywork
in the next month or so.
