Meet the Owner, Mark Levatino

With a lifetime of experience in automobile service and repair under his belt, Master Car Mechanic Mark Levatino has a resume that includes "Mechanix" work on rare and collectible cars. Models Like- Hemicudas, LS6 Chevelles, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Austin Martins, Hellcats, Demons, Shelbys, C.O.P.O. Camar's, SuperBirds and countless other rare collector cars.

Mark's passion for cars started when he was a teenager, working alongside his mentor, Louie Giangola, at HorseLess Carriage in North Haven, CT on such classics as Jaguars, Alfa Romeos, Packards and other vintage classics. Then, at the age of 17, he experienced a life altering event- he went for a ride in a 240Z and that changed his life.

Mark was instantly bitten by understanding the ins and outs of the automobile. Automobiles have been Mark's passion ever since.

Since 1997, Mark has been the operator and owner of Mechanix AutoWorks. Mark's Beautiful NEW Location is 33 Ols Amity Rd. Bethany, CT

Mechanix AutoWorks Repairs and Mechanically Restores all vintage, classic and Specialty automobiles. Mark has specialized in muscle, high-end and exotic automobile repair since 1997.

At home, Mark is dedicated to his love for cars, animals and his loving wife Laura of 9 years. Mark sponsors countless car events with Mopars In Motion Car Club, SuperCar Races, Ralphs Rapid Transit Cruiz-Ins to name a few. Laura is very passionate and present in the community looking out and helping with rescue animals.

Mark feels his support of local car clubs and events to get young people involved in the car collector hobby are key. He believes that without young people's involvement, the car collector tradition will disappear.
