Sorry for the long wait on the update. I have been busy with
the Challenger and the 67 GTX. The Challenger assembly
is going very well. I am still having a hard time locating
the S/E molding for the back edge of the hood. If any one out
their has one, send me an E-mail I would appreciate it. I just
received the remainder of my rechromed parts from the platter
last week. So the next couple of weeks I will be installing them.
I am hoping to have the Challenger Ready for the Nationals.

I am installing a Hemi in my 1967 440 4Spd. GTX so this is
taking some of my time away from the Challenger. Dalton
& I installed the Rods and Pistons 4 weeks ago. I installed
the Cam and Timing Gear and I bolted the heads down this
past week. I am ready to install the intake then I will pull the
440 out of the GTX and get the engine bay ready for the Hemi.
My friends can't believe I am putting a Hemi in the GTX.
The Reason why is the motor in the GTX now is not the #'s Motor.
It is a 1969 1/2 440+6 out of a Super Bee. I do not have the original
motor for the Challenger and this motor will make a great Mill
for the Challenger. I purchased this Hemi last fall with the intention
of rebuilding it and installing it in the GTX. The GTX is my first Mopar
ever so the car will never leave my Garage. I would enjoy the car more
with the Hemi So again Why Not! I have the original Mill to the
GTX and if I decide that I don't like the Hemi then I will Reinstall it.
But I have never had a HEMI I did not like!!!!!!
